Virtual Reality of Marketing

Virtual reality of marketing is called eCommerce or also known as Electronic Commerce.

virtual reality

We are now living in a generation where technology vastly evolves and dominates in the idea of advertising and marketing. New gadgets where launch one from another. From computers to laptop, laptop to tablet, tablet to smartphone, smartphone to phablet (a combination of smartphone and tablet). All of these are available in our world today and you can see these everywhere you go.

Because of these gadgets, people’s lives became easier and easier. They can now pay their bills online, communicate with their loved ones through video call, and most especially, they can now buy and sell online. Several online shops were established like Ebay, Amazon, ASOS, Zappos, etc. It is now easier to buy through these online websites. Just choose the item you want, pay online, and the item will be delivered in your house. Everything is simple with a click of your finger.

This virtual reality of marketing is called eCommerce or also known as Electronic Commerce. This term simply means buying and selling through the use of internet. Since the technology evolves, the business through website has become the fastest growing method of trading.

But Korea turned their marketing business to a whole new virtual reality. They have just made the first virtual store. It may seem look like a regular store but what it differentiates to the other is that instead of having a real item, all they show you is pictures of goods which carry a small barcode. For you to be able to shop, you must now bring out your smartphones instead of baskets. Shoppers should be able to download an application called Homeplus and can purchase by taking pictures of the barcode. Goods will then be given upon payment. Homeplus can also be used even when you are nowhere near the virtual store. Just open the application, choose your item, and it will be then delivered on your doorstep.

With eCommerce, shopping has become convenient and time saving to all consumers; it may be with a form of business-customer type or business-business. The business-customer or business-consumer (B2C) is a form of ecommerce to which the process is selling products directly to the consumers, thus, the business-business (B2B) is a process of giving service or selling products to other businesses. Where ever you are, eCommerce gives you and the society an opportunity to make your life hassle-free when it comes to shopping.

Do’s and Don’ts on Social Media Marketing

Social media has become even more popular in our generation. We have Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and so on

Social media

But these social media has now become a nonsense diary of users who tends to just to broadcast. Often times used for whole different way causing chaos and misunderstandings towards the community. And people fail to see the great influence of social media in terms of building relationship, communication, and most of all an advantage towards social media marketing.

It is a fact though that people have their own freedom to use their account to whatever they want. But some users would want to gain success in terms of social media marketing. Here are some few Do’s and Don’ts on Social Media Marketing.

1. DO Build Relationships

Social media networks are a great way to build relationship and not just to broadcast. As you build relationship with people in the network, your market or your community will eventually grow. If you just broadcast, those who follow you will more likely to stop because they won’t feel that you are adding value on their experiences. If you’re not sure how to build relationship, all you need to do is entertain, inform, and most of all educate. If the things you want to share do not fit under one of those three categories, it is better to just keep it to yourself.

2. DO select network or networks that works for you

Participating in all social media network is not necessary. Choose a social media network that serves your target and do anything you can for that network. It is actually better to belong in one social media network and doing it well rather than to be on to all of them and you’re doing an unsatisfactory job. Always remember that in social media marketing, quality is more important than quantity. Quantity will not be an issue if you can assure the good quality of your network.

3. DO always be open to listen

You may not be on all social media networks but it is important that you keep an eye on your social media network. This will help you especially if someone is talking about your product or service; you can immediately response to their needs. Keep in mind that people often use social media networks to access customer service.

4. DO prepare a strategy

Just like in making a business proposal, you should first identify your goals and objectives of your business. This will serve as your guide if your efforts are really working. There are a lot of businesses launch on social media marketing because it is considered “in” thing but fails to identify how they will manage and handle it. Some also can’t determine whether their goals and objectives are being achieved or not. You should consider a social media marketing strategy and explain clearly to your partners, if you have any, so that all of you will focus on achieving great results.

5. DON’T put your social media network on autopilot

Always consider being involved, active, and engaged in any activity of your social media network. Creating a strategy is important and make sure it makes participation a consistent basis.

6. DON’T confuse business to personal

In every social media, there’s always a line between business and personal. Don’t be confused by these two and always remember to separate them in dealing with your messages or transactions. Personal messages is different from business transactions, so act in business as if you’re creating a professional profile and an image that will highly represent your business as well.

7. DON’T ignore opinions especially complains

One of the many reason business doesn’t want to be in social medias are possible several complains that any customer could say about your business. But these things won’t possibly happen if you take care of your services and handle these problems. If someone is talking negative about your business or service, you should handle in diplomatic manner. Talk to the customer calmly, say thank you for addressing the problem and then make a solution.

So that’s it, the do’s and don’ts in social media marketing. I hope you learned a lot of things from this article. And always remember, the great way to handle your social media network marketing is to plan ahead before launching.
